PoliticsNOW will be hosting a virtual roundtable discussion with three phenomenal Northern Ontario politicians: Kristin Murray (Timmins municipal councillor), Viviane Lapointe (Member of Parliament for Sudbury) and Erika Lougheed (East Ferris municipal councillor and provincial NDP candidate for Nipissing).
Over the years, we've hosted numerous events, from training sessions to roundtable discussions, all aimed at empowering women to run for municipal office. These events have been a vital part of our work and helped build a thriving community of women leaders.
But right now, we’re in a unique phase of preparation for the 2026 Municipal Election.
While we’re not hosting events at this moment, we’re hard at work preparing for the next round of training, community organizing, and leadership development opportunities. In the meantime, we’re reflecting on what we’ve learned and fine-tuning our approach to make sure we continue to meet the needs of women who are ready to make an impact.
Our events are designed to provide valuable tools, insights, and support — helping women across Northern Ontario prepare for leadership roles.
Check out some of our past events below, and stay tuned for exciting new opportunities as we prepare for the 2026 Municipal Election.
