A proud Franco-Ontarian born and raised in Timmins, Michelle has dedicated her career to bettering the socio-economic well-being of people throughout Northern Ontario. She has over a decade of experience working in the postsecondary education sector and is currently the Employment & Immigration Services Manager for a local community college. Michelle obtained a Master of Research degree in Educational and Social Research from the University of London and an Honours Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ottawa. Elected to the municipal council in the City of Timmins in 2018, Michelle serves on several community boards and committees and is honoured to chair the Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association. She is most proud of being the mother of a two-year-old daughter, Rosalie.

Chantal is an Educator living in North Bay with two children. Her oldest just graduated, and her youngest is continuing in high school. Her experience teaching young children, teens and adults from age 7 to post-secondary has given her more compassion. She is an active volunteer in the community to support the arts and, in particular, Newcomers to Canada. She believes that inclusion makes our schools better. Her family has had many successes in supporting their children with very different needs. She hopes to continue strengthening our school to support an increasingly diverse student population.

Sharon was born in Sudbury where she raised my four kids. She has four grandchildren that she spends a lot of time with. When her kids were young, she volunteered on Our Children Our Future for 10 years providing prenatal nutritional information for expectant mothers and organizing activities for preschool children. She has worked as a manager and a bookkeeper but has spent most of her life in the transportation field as a driver as well as a trainer. In her spare time, she’s an author and an inventor.

Donnalee Morettin is an active, busy mother of two teenage daughters Isabella and Angelina. With her husband Dennis by her side, she is able to become the woman she has always wanted to be. Her career in the Hospitality Industry spans thirty years, but that is only the beginning. Donnalee has successfully been involved and helped organize and present world, national, and locally run events over the past 25 years. Her involvement with the Chamber of Commerce, Waterfront District BIA, and various organizations has given her the ability to adapt well to any situation. Motivation is key in Donnalee’s world, and running for council is her way to help ensure our community is well-placed moving forward.
